Emina Smailbegović was born in Sarajevo in 1996.Emina is a writer and artist who published her novel Via Appia at the age of 23.She spent her childhood in Breza, where she was born, while life paths took her away from home as a teenager. High School of Music – Department of Piano, she finished in Tuzla. She continued her music education in Venice as a scholar of the Government of the Republic of Italy. She graduated in piano in 2018 from the Music Conservatory "Santa Cecilia" in Rome and then obtained her master's degree from the University of La Sapineza. She's now the youngest PhD student in music studies. Her first novel, Via Appia, was published in the Buybook publishing house in 2019. A second novel called The Terrible Children of Averroes was published in 2022, also in the Buybook publishing house. |
